Lynch Graphics president David Lynch was born in Southern California in 1958. During his school years, academic interests included graphic design, photography, illustration, and art history. Hobbies included traditional music, drama, hang gliding, and backpacking. For more personal information, see the autobiography on The Old-Time Music Home Page.
After completing his AA degree, David dedicated a year to nature photography in Yosemite Valley, California before returning to university to complete his bachelor's degree.
In 1981, David was selected to participate in the California State University's International Program. After spending that summer in an intensive Italian language course at UCLA, he spent the 1981-82 school year studying in Florence, Italy. David graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the California State University in Northridge.
Since graduating university in 1984, David has worked professionally in the graphic design industry. His past employers include Paper Moon Graphics, GuestInformant, Inc., and IPI Advertising Group. His salaried work history helped him develop a broad background in studio design, publishing, direct mail and advertising. David Lynch opened his own graphic design studio over 13 years ago and has since dedicated himself to quality work at a fair price, delivered on time.
After working in the traditional methods of graphic design, David began using the computer as a graphics tool in 1985. He developed a high level of expertise in digital graphics, and for a time offered computer training and consulting services for graphics professionals. Currently, the studio is focused exclusively on providing design and creative services.
